    Required Qualifications

    Education/Licensure:

  • MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent to an MD.
  • Eligible for Kansas medical license.
  • Work Experience: Completion of neurology residency training and neuromuscular medicine fellowship

    training.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Skills: Excellent communication skills.

    Job Duties Outlined:

  • See patients in the outpatient neurology neuromuscular clinic.
  • On occasion, cover the academic teaching service in the inpatient hospital unit.
  • Supervise neurology residents and fellows. This will include supervision of trainees in the hospital and in the outpatient clinic.
  • Teach medical students on the inpatient and outpatient services and provide occasional lectures.
  • Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of neuromuscular medicine disease.
  • Other duties as assigned by Department Chair.

    Comprehensive Benefits Package:
