    Salary and Benefits

    About the Job

    This is a full-time position with a weekly schedule of 40 hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Preparing and cooking meals according to standardized recipes and Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines.
    • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation.
    • Working effectively with internal customers, requiring above-average communication and teamwork skills.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
    • Basic math skills to measure ingredients accurately.
    • Minimum six months of applicable experience in food preparation and service.

    Additional requirements may apply, including ServSafe certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Depending on location, a valid driver's license may be required. Please note that the Good Samaritan Society is an EEO/AA Employer and values diversity in its workforce.
