Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dependable full time Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic delivery team In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods and packages to various locations. Your enthusiasm for customer service, combined with your driving expertise, will ensure timely deliveries and exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck, including manual transmission vehicles, on designated routes during weekends
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols
- Deliver packages and goods promptly to customers, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and route adherence
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required
- Assist in warehouse activities such as moving inventory or organizing stock when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Proven delivery driver experience with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools for efficient deliveries
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with moving goods in a fast-paced environment is desirable
