    Position Summary:

    As a member of an inter-disciplinary Supply Chain team, a Receiver performs receiving tasks within the ERP system. This includes administrative tasks related to inspection, receiving, and distribution of inbound and outbound shipments. The position is responsible for communicating discrepancies in shipments with the Central Procurement department. The position is responsible for processing returns in conjunction with the Buyer. The position assists with Inventory Control functions related to receipts for inventory items.





    Qualifications:

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    H.S. Diploma/GED in Equivalent

    CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
    Driver's License with CDL Class B required. upon hire

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    1-2 years in supply chain distribution

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
    • Work may occasionally require travel to other facilities/hospitals.
    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
    Must be self-directed and assume responsibility for timely completion of job responsibilities. Must possess strong Customer Service skills. Must possess skills related to projection coordination and critical thinking. Must have strong safety background.



    Essential Functions:

    • Receiving / Delivery* Completes efficient and timely unloading of shipments from freight carrier through use of pallet jack, hand truck, or flatbed* Inspects packages for damages* Verifies product shipment to packing slip* Documents receipt of product in Lawson ERP system appropriately and accurately* Identifies and communicates with Central Procurement discrepancies in shipments* Files packing slips and receiving records* Completes deliver of packages to correct location per Purchase Order* Processes vendor returns in the ERP system and for the outbound freight carrier to process. Delivers supplies and/or equipment to other facilities/clinics within the region.
