• Clarifies orders as necessary using appropriate communication channels as authorized within scope of license or work permit. Operates equipment, sets up techniques, sterile procedure and supplies needed to perform various special procedures.
• Performs polysomnograms and titrations according to department protocol as authorized within the scope of license or work permit. Operates equipment to record sleep and awake physiology readings of patient. Orders supplies and maintains equipment.
• Uses assessment data to develop and document a sleep test plan. Educates and trains patients on the use of Home Sleep Testing (HST) equipment, as necessary. Clarifies orders as necessary using appropriate communication channels as authorized within scope of license or work permit.
