    Description

    We're Hiring a Geophysicist at Eden

    Eden is at the forefront of developing Electrical Reservoir Stimulation (ERS), an innovative technique for enhancing reservoir permeability and resource recovery. ERS stands out as a safer, more effective, and efficient method that contributes to a carbon-free future by improving Earth's resource recovery. Our technology is set to revolutionize resource recovery across various industries such as geothermal, critical mineral mining, stimulated geologic hydrogen, and oil & gas.

    We are on the lookout for a sharp, motivated, and creative geophysicist with an entrepreneurial mindset to be part of our team. Your role will involve applying our ERS technology in the renewable energy sector by contributing to the design of geophysical data surveys for both domestic and international projects at Eden.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Assist in designing geophysical data collection plans
    • Help in planning data collection and instrumentation
    • Utilize best practices and industry knowledge to enhance products and services
    • Explore new technologies and techniques emerging in the geothermal field
    • Manage and organize internal databases of new and existing datasets
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate geological insights into geothermal energy projects

    Requirements

    • PhD in Geophysics
    • Solid foundational knowledge of geophysics
    • Demonstrated expertise in microseismic, electromagnetic, electrical resistive tomography, controlled source electromagnetic, magnetotellurics, and other relevant imaging methods
    • Proven experience in designing and planning geophysical surveys and data acquisition
    • Ability to work jointly with senior geophysicists
    • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite
    • Familiarity with geological data analysis software and data visualization tools is a plus
