    The Role

    As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Moxion Power, you'll be a key player in helping us perfect our core mobile energy storage technology and expand our product lineup.

    You'll have the opportunity to work on multiple products and be involved at all stages of the product development cycle - from prototyping to high-volume manufacturing.

    The products you design and bring to market will transform and disrupt massive industries that haven't seen innovation in decades.

    What you'll do:
    Provide leadership in DFA/DFM to product development teams
    Work cross functionally with other engineering teams to identify, develop and implement solutions in mechanical roadblocks or challenges
    Use mechanical design analysis (FEA) to optimize your designs
    Articulate your design decisions to suppliers and other team members (even the non-technical ones)
    Collaborate with manufacturing to hand build the first units of Moxion's product line
    Prepare and deliver analysis reports to stakeholders

    Skills to be successful:
    Ability to clearly document and present ideas, designs and details
    Experience in high volume production
    Experience in product design working with sheet metal, plastics, weldments, and castings
    Experience in automated manufacturing processes and equipment
    Design verification and durability testing experience
