Cash Applications Specialist - Hybrid Opportunity

Expanding South Charlotte Corporate headquarters is adding a Cash Applications Specialist to their Accounts Receivable team.

You will be working closely with the accounting and finance departments as well as external customers regarding Cash Applications and EDI transmissions.

Salary up to $56,000 plus great benefits with hybrid work schedule after training.

Responsibilities of the

Cash Applications Specialist:
Post payments to client accounts
Researching unidentified or misapplied payments
Performs various accounts receivable functions including general Ledger account reconciliations, aging, and discrepancy resolution
Troubleshoot to resolve invoice discrepancies or issues
Support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files
Ensure customers have access to the EDI portal
Identify and implement potential processes improvements that will increase AR department's efficiency and effectiveness
Will train other employees on SAP and related system tools.

Skills Required for the

Cash Applications Specialist:
Bachelor's Degree
Prior experience in an Accounts Receivable or Cash Applications Specialist role
SAP experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Must have the ability to learn and navigate customer portals
Critical thinking and analysis skills
