- Conduct visual inspections of molded components.
- Perform dimensional measurements on components and assemblies.
- Input data into the SPC database and assess the results.
- Conduct various types of inspections including line, in-process, sub-assembly, shipping, and receiving inspections.
- Perform audits, compile reports under supervision, and document outcomes.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of related inspection experience in the plastics industry.
- Five years of general inspection experience.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Spanish language proficiency is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Problem-solving skills for low complexity issues.
- Proficiency in using basic inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and optical comparators.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel) are a plus.
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary for operating inspection equipment.
- Physical mobility required for collecting samples, interacting with floor personnel, etc.
- Office environment with moderate noise levels on the shop floor.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting visual and dimensional inspections of molded components and assemblies, documenting results, and preparing quality-related documentation.
