**Process Team Leader**
**Location: York, NE**
***Job Summary:*** This position leads and directs Process Operators on all aspects of the ethanol/co-products production; striving for maximum efficiency in plant operations. Support operations through problem solving, adaptation, and collaborating with other departments to correct process problems.
**Essential Functions include but are not limited to:**
In depth knowledge of production processes, including ability to independently start up and shut down plant operations.
Thorough knowledge of all the process equipment and understanding of required actions for process equipment failures.
Schedule, monitor and oversee the daily tasks of the production team.
Audit procedures and daily crew activities. Review log book, inventory sheets and monthly reports.
Ensure smooth shift transition by communicating all necessary information to next shift Team Leader.
Enter/provide production information, shift documentation and reporting; including downtime review
Train production employees on new/existing procedures, update regarding changes and make training recommendation to Operations Manager.
Mechanical aptitude to assist trouble shooting of repairs.
Communicate with the maintenance department to schedule required projects.
Initiate Work Requests in the CMMS software as they are determined.
Properly document any accidents and/or injuries and complete necessary incident reporting procedures.
Audit and assist with routine housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work environment
Participates in safety, health, environmental and ongoing training programs.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
High School Diploma or equivalent required; secondary education preferred.
Production or operational experience is required; background in ethanol production is preferred.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to embrace change.
Work productively under time constraints and exhibit a sense of urgency when necessary.
Ability to supervise others and monitor their work flow.
Exemplify the high standards necessary to accomplish the goals of the Company.
MS Office Suite and asset management system (Maximo) experience preferred.
Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable regulatory requirements of FSMA, FRA, TTB and state and federal regulations.
Must be willing to work overtime and work a 12-hour shift, including weekends, evenings, and
**Work** **Environment/Physical Demands:**
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (Hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toed/heeled boots, and hearing protection).
Ability to meet physical demands of the job includes but is not limited to: frequent sitting, computer use, and telephone use.
Must be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and steps, lift up to 60 lbs., and work at heights.
