Description

The Senior Business System Analyst for Maximo will provide critical input in analyzing business processes for the Operational and Maintenance Department while optimizing those processes associated with asset management and/or maintenance activities.

The responsibilities will include working with multiple departments to develop new business processes, identifying the needs of stakeholders, providing input from the business's perspective on projects led by the IT system analyst, ensuring successful implementation of new enhancements to the Maximo system, and using Maximo system tools such as Escalations, Actions, Workflow Designer, Security Groups, etc.

The Senior Business System Analyst will collaborate with other analysts across the company to ensure that the systems continue to work seamlessly with one another.

Any training needed by other analysts on the business system will be the responsibility of the Senior Business System Analyst as well as guidance on various day-to-day tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.


Experience:

Minimum eight (8) years of experience in Maximo, with a proven record indicating the applicant can develop business processes, manage a database system, and provide excellent customer service to the business.

Preferably in a utility or similar industry


Specialized Skills (e.g.

, computer, software):

Excellent presentation, communication, organization, planning, and interpersonal skills needed to successfully work with a large array of peers to accomplish tasks.

The applicant must be able to analyze complex problems and derive solutions that fit the needs of the business.

Software skills needed include but are not limited to IBM Maximo Suite, Microsoft Office 365 suite, Microsoft Visio or equivalent software, and sequel coding experience preferred but not required.

Must be able to pass a NERC CIP personnel risk assessment screening.
