    Job Overview:
    The Human Resources and Facilities Manager leads our People function and overseas our facilities and office management.

    As a true partner to the business, you will own the operational aspects of all Human Resources centers of excellence.

    Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and supporting the Chief Executive Officer and our overall office culture, you will be connected to and motivated by our mission to bring joy to motherhood.

    You bring a combination of energy to build a best-in-class People & Office support function, focusing on operational excellence and care for our teammates.

    You will partner closely with teams to ensure the office runs smoothly, is organized, and that everyone has what they need to be successful in their roles.

    You thrive in a startup environment, are very hands on, naturally curious and highly collaborative.

    Roles & Responsibilities | What you'll do:
    Human Resources Leadership


    • Ensure a strong purpose-driven culture and build programs to support all employees and team leaders
    • Own the delivery and effectiveness of several core People processes across employee life-cycle activities such as benefits, compliance / policy management and leave management
    • Be responsible for onboarding and off-boarding employees
    • Collaborate with team members and across functions to develop, document and implement new programs, processes, events and initiatives
    • Own our HRIS (BambooHR) and be responsible for ensuring data integrity
    • Oversee our benefits program and partner with the leadership team on reviewing, maintaining and upgrading offerings
    • Program manage and execute key strategic initiatives led by the People team including but not limited to Willow's performance management process, and employee engagement survey
    • Manage our recruiting operations, including our applicant tracking, processing offers, supporting our contract recruiter and ensuring there is a consistent and exceptional candidate experience
    • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and resource plans to ensure timely and coordinated execution of key programs
    Office Management Leadership


    • Maintain general upkeep of the office, including office equipment, adequately stocked kitchen, office supplies, and paper and copy machine products
    • Manage shipping and receiving for the office; generate shipping labels; retrieve, sort, and distribute incoming mail
    • Communicate with building management for any facilities needs
    • Manage swag ordering and inventory as well as provide welcome packages to new hires
    • Take pride in the appearance of the office and make it welcoming for our employees and guests

    Experience | What you'll bring:

    • 4+ years of People experience, preferably in a start-up environment.
    • Strong People function expertise; knowledgeable on employment law matters, immigration, performance management, benefits, and compliance & policy management
    • Experience managing benefits, open enrollment and qualifying life events
    • Experience with an HRIS system such as BambooHR
    • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal with a desire to work in a collaborative environment
    • The ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders and to build relationships at all levels of the organization
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgment
    • Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust building behaviors in all dealings is essential
    • You're a builder and enjoy setting up the foundation for the HR function
    • Are excited to work in a startup environment; you have a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid environment.

    Willow takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the successful candidate's location, job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.

    We regularly review and update our pay ranges and therefore, these ranges may be modified in the future.

    Bay Area, Seattle Area :
    $88K - $115K
