    Self Schedule, no weekends or holidays.

    Servicing Areas:
    Tuscaloosa, AL 35405, 35404, Private Duty Nurse for a total care pediatric client.

    Hours:
    12 hours per day 7 days a week - Flexible will discuss hours with nurse and family.

    PRN Licensed Practical Nurse:

    As an Addus Nurse, you will:
    Enable patients to stay independent while they remain in their own homes.

    Perform selected nursing procedures, commensurate with experience and education within the scope of LPN/LVN practice including but not limited to: tracheostomy care, colostomy care, enemas, douches, catheterizations, dressing changes, and phlebotomies.

    Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN.
    Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations.
    Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately.
    Perform routine supervisory visits to evaluate the plan of care and supervise the delivery of excellent client service.
    Communicate with Case Managers and other members of the care team

    REQUIREMENTS
    Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current practical nurse licensure.
    At least 2 year of practical nursing experience.

    Must be able to travel locally in your own vehicle, and possess a valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance coverage.
