    fs3|Hodges, a leading project and construction management firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team.

    The Senior Project Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects, providing technical expertise and support to the Senior Construction Manager and project team.

    Projects the Senior Project Engineer will work on include an affordable housing project at CSULB.


    Salary Range:
    $120,000 - $130,000

    Responsibilities

    The primary role is document control and assisting the Sr. Construction Manager as needed

    Assist with the complete project life cycle, from pre-construction planning to final closeout

    Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent

    Coordinate and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders

    Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure proper implementation of design

    Perform constructability reviews to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement

    Prepare and update project schedules using project management software

    Monitor project progress and assist in resolving any delays or issues that may arise

    Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications

    Manage and track project budgets, including cost estimation and forecasting

    Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project engineers on the team

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

    8-10 years of experience in project engineering or construction management

    Institutional/Higher Ed experience preferred

    CSU experience is a plus but not required

    Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials

    Proficiency in project management software, such as Procore or Primavera P6

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
