    The Student Program Associate, Organization Development and Leadership is an integral member of the Student Involvement team. This role facilitates student involvement opportunities and provides critical support to student organizations through advising, training, and development.

    This role will oversee GW Org Help, which offers centralized service and advising to 250+ student organizations through email support, online training modules, and drop-in office hours.

    They will also oversee the annual re-registration and new organization registration processes.
    This role facilitates student leadership development and provides opportunities and coaching for student organizations.

    This position is a member of the Student Involvement team, a multifunctional student development unit that supports many aspects of the student experience.

    The Program Associate should be able to support a range of co-curricular programming, student development projects, and customer service scenarios.

    Student Involvement aims to recruit student development educators that are committed to the broad goal of creating a community of belonging regardless through professional and experiential adaptability.

    The Student Program Associate works in close collaboration with staff across various units of the Division for Student Affairs and will support broader initiatives as needed.

    Oversee all planning and execution for LEAD GW, a pre-orientation program that orients new students to concepts of Leadership and Development during their time at GW
    Regularly engage with those organizations, and the broader student organization community, by attending events and providing support as needed
    Assist with the management of the Org Help Desk as needed, as part of the Student Involvement Team
    As part of the Student Involvement Team, assist in developing a comprehensive strategy for student organizations, including policies, procedures, and learning opportunities
    Support student organizations in managing logistics, and understanding university policies and procedures
    Assist in the planning and execution of traditional university events.
    This position may supervise a graduate student employee

    In support of the fraternity and sorority function of the Student Involvement Team, assist with Chapter Accreditation review, event support, and other projects as needed.

    The position is based at GW's Foggy Bottom Campus in Washington, DC but may require travel across campuses. Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
    Degree in higher education administration, counseling, or related field
    Proficiency with personal computers and the use of database software
    Experience with Anthology Engage platform

    Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:30pm, with occasional nights and weekends required
