    Job Description Summary:This team member is responsible for putting together various components to safely assemble fork truck mast subassemblies and/or fork truck mast units while adhering to specified blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. They verify the correct quantities of component parts, quality check completed items, and safely use a variety of hand and/or power tools and material moving equipment.

    Essential functions:
    • Safely assemble a variety of subassemblies and/or mast units using a variety of hand/power tools and equipment per LTI standard work instructions and safety/quality procedures.
    • Safely perform necessary adjustments per LTI technical drawings and engineering notices.
    • Safely operate overhead trolley system, overhead cranes, various lifting devices, and fork trucks.
    • Safely perform Quality Checks per LTI requirements.
    • Safely perform daily start-up duties, maintain proper oil and coolant levels, and keep equipment and work area clean and in proper operating conditions.
    • Accurately and neatly complete all required production documentation.
    • Safely perform other job-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, safely, and in alignment with Lift Tek's core values and policies. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

    Education/Certifications/Experience:Required:
    • A High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
    Preferred:
    • Associates Degree.
    • Skilled Trade Certification in a related area.
    • Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience.
    Skills and Ability:
    • Basic knowledge of math and measuring functions.
    • Ability to utilize a variety of hand/power tools and measuring devices.
    • Ability to operate overhead trolley system, overhead cranes, and fork trucks.
    • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering notices.
    • Ability to read and follow safety and work instructions, procedures, and policies.
    • Ability to work regular schedule and overtime, as required.
    • Ability to effectively work with coworkers in a team environment.
    • Ability to accurately and neatly complete required production documentation.
    • Demonstrated ability to consistently produce quality product.
