    Description


    Translate program requirements into a projected Development Plan covering 1 to 3 years in the future which reflects the time phased onboarding of new technologies to achieve program objectives.


    • Collaborate with DoD agencies, acquisition program offices, or technology providers in the refinement of planning, resource requirements to achieve objectives, and risk assessment.
    • Coordinate with the program's Lead System Integrator to transition the Development Plan into year of execution actions and tasks.
    • Serve as Coordinator and Co-lead for the program's Risk Management Board and Change Control Board.
    • Facilitate the identification, analysis, response planning, and implementation of mitigation steps for program level risks.
    • Facilitate the formal review of proposed changes to system architecture and interfaces, ensuring proposed changes are reviewed for impacts across all product teams as well as for cybersecurity accreditations prior to presentation to the program manager for approval.
    • Prepare briefing materials to facilitate meetings, as directed, and report progress to the PM.
    • Participate in multiple weekly status calls with DE2/VFDE team members at TRMC, OUSD (R&E) and INDOPACOM, along with other disparate CONUS and OCONUS locations.

    Required Skills & Experience

    Security Clearance Requirement:
    Active TS/SCI security clearance, or *TS/SCI eligibility required.

    *Education Requirement: BS degree in Engineering, Science or Information Technology related degree desired.

    *Place of Performance: San Diego, CA


    • Ten (10) or more years of experience in program/project management (PMP or DAWIA certification)
    • Agile project management and familiarity with DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipeline processes
    • Organizational knowledge of Military Service, Combatant Command, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense staff functions, especially with regards to requirements generation and validation, the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS), and Defense Acquisition System processes.
    • Demonstrate clear and concise written communication skills in a technical format, that will support in the development of all required plans and reports, required of the program.
    • Verbal Communications: able to present technical briefs, ability to lead discussions pertaining to technical subject matter.
