Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with call responsibilities Monday through Sunday

• 2 years of experience in echo technology required

• Must have both echo and vascular registries and experience

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and credentials through ARDMS or CCI (CCI RCS, CCI RVS, RDCS, RDCS-RVT)

• Perform approximately 21 visits per day in a 3-room, 3-bed unit

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

• Skills include M-Mode, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, 3-D Echo, bubble studies, imaging with contrast agents, pharmacologic stress echo, portable studies, TEE, treadmill stress echo

• Experience with GE and Toshiba equipment required

• Special equipment includes GE E95, GE E9, and Toshiba APLIO 300

• Charting experience with Allscripts required, Altera experience preferred

• Must work in ICU/ED settings with isolation precautions/PPE

• Travel experience preferred but not required

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Must complete mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing

• Required to complete lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer

• Complete 6-8 hours of non-billable modules during orientation

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular services department with modern echocardiography equipment and technology. The facility provides both inpatient and outpatient cardiac imaging services, supporting emergency department, ICU, and routine cardiac care needs. The organization maintains high standards for cardiac diagnostics and offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary services.
