Senior AccountantOverview:We are seeking a Senior Accountant to collaborate closely with the Controller in managing the day-to-day accounting operations of our company.
The incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) while maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in compiling monthly financial data, conducting variance analysis, and reconciling balance sheets, including Work in Progress (WIP).Support the Controller in conducting Fiscal Year End Reviews, Audits, and various related tasks.
Maintain the Fixed Assets Schedule accurately.
Assist in managing government filings and city business licenses.
Facilitate Business Insurance Renewals and audits.
Contribute to ESOP Administration tasks.
Undertake Budget and Forecast duties as required.
Perform other assigned tasks and duties as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, with 3 or more years of relevant experience.
CPA or CPA Candidate status is advantageous.

Proficient in accounting fundamentals and internal controls.

Experience with software integrations; familiarity with Sage 300 is a plus.
Comfortable working in a 100% in-office environment.
