    The Engineering Manager oversees engineering and maintenance personnel, manages the site's CAPEX plan in alignment with business objectives, ensures compliance with engineering standards and regulations, and oversees the design and execution of capital projects.

    They also maintain asset integrity, manage site utilities, and oversee contractor management.

    Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining the plant's SAP system, including preventive and demand maintenance, calibration systems, and participation in safety processes.


    In your future as Engineering Manager you will:
    Oversee capital projects from start to finish, including design, funding approval, installation, and commissioning.
    Manage both internal and external resources for project management.
    Collaborate on various teams as needed, whether it's project-specific, operational, or cross-functional.
    Ensure mechanical integrity by evaluating equipment and adhering to established plans and procedures.
    Uphold compliance with Corporate and external regulations related to asset integrity.
    Administer site PSM programs like Management of Change and Pre-Startup Safety Review.
    Supervise Maintenance Supervisor in asset integrity and plant maintenance.
    Assign tasks and projects to maintenance employees.
    Manage preventive and demand maintenance programs, calibration systems, and regulatory compliance.
    Monitor maintenance expenses and overtime.
    Maintain spare parts inventory and asset register.
    Provide training on HSES codes and standards for maintenance and engineering employees.
    Participate in the operations safety committee to promote HSES initiatives.
    Encourage maintenance and engineering employees to engage in the CACTUS behavioral safety process.
    Contribute to the CACTUS Barrier Removal Team.
    Ensure cleanliness and organization in maintenance work areas.
    Assist in injury and incident investigations as necessary.
    Manage process control systems and ensure their functionality.
    Maintain engineering drawings and files, including P&IDs, equipment drawings, and OEM manuals.


    We believe you bring:


    Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (open to other engineering fields)Minimum 5 years of experience in the chemical industry.

    At least 3 years of project engineering experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective communication across all organizational levels.

    Proficiency in using personal computer software packagesKnowledge of DeltaV, Six Sigma, and/or 5S is advantageousSupervisory experience in a union environment is desirableCapable of planning, communicating, and executing construction and maintenance projectsFamiliarity with SAP is a bonus.

    Ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team setting.

    Strong background in safety practicesGood to know:
