    • Number of Beds – 12
    • Number of Staff – 20 total
    • Type of staff:o
    Day Shift – 3 or 4 nurses (one charge with pt) and 1 pct
    o

    Night Shift – 3 nurses and 1 pct

    • Patient Ratios – 4:1
    • Type of equipment – central lines, pca, epidural, drains, foley, wound vac, wound care.
    • EMR – Meditech
    Typical hiring profile

    Skill Set Most recruited for:

    Must have :
    candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

    • Able to read cardiac monitor
    • Able to give narcotics

    Preferred or nice to have :
    candidates with these skills will be considered first.

    • Stepdown experience
    • Post-surgery experience

    List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

    • Colon resections, whipple, liver and kidney surgeries, vascular, trauma
    • Any surgeries other than cardiac surgery – some medical overflow
    • Cardiac drips (popular Cardizem amiodarone, heparin)

    Best personality Fit:

    • Team player – critical thinking – kind and compassionate

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

    • BLS, ACLS
