    Job Description


    American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

    Responsibilities

    • Work setting is a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab
    • 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours/week)
    • Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
    • On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
    • Epic EMR used for charting
    • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for cardiac cath lab patients
    • Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
    • Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
    • Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
    • BSN and specialty certification are preferred

    Requirements

    • Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
    • ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
    • Current AHA BLS required; ACLS required as appropriate for the unit
    • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
    • All certifications must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
