    SUMMARY:
    Responsible for all billing and financial tasks related to the onboarding process for new customers.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Coordinate document management and indexing functions.
    Coordinates the distribution of work for Inland RSM coordinators and
    specialists. Assists with research, billing and settlement management process
    functions related to Land Transportation orders. Maintains statistics of
    performance for the department. Performs special projects and analysis as
    assigned. Reports periodically to the designated Inland Supervisor/Manager. Provides statistics as may be required by management.
    Provides guidance, distributes work load in the Inland RSM area, requests Over Time on behalf of the team. Performs Agents audits as required.
    Helps to create, enhance, maintain processes.
    Assists employees with routine questions regarding RSM issues.
    Assists the Supervisor/Manager with special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

    May contact customers and approve/refuse miscellaneous payments to vendors, process all invoices and carrier payments as well as classifying and validating appropriate documents such as bill of lading, proof of delivery, etc.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    SPECIFICS PER AREA

    • Supports all CTSI locations with their billing.
    • Supports 3rd party and rails with their billing.
    • Supports all accessorial, pushback requests.
    • Supports with Revenue and settlement
    management process for special projects, e.g. but not limited to FEMA.

    • Supports all document Management and
    indexing functions for Commercial and DFTS

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION:
    Bachelor's in business administration, accounting, economics, logistics or related field preferred; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.


    EXPERIENCE:


    • 3 years' experience in Accounting, Transportation & Logistics, Customer Care,
    purchasing, Accounts Payable related field preferred. Excellent customer service,
    communication and analytical skills. Ability to multi- task in a fast-paced environmen

    TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:
    Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Experience in Lawson software, TMW, CICS or other financial systems is a preferred.

    COMPETENCIES:
    Ability to communicate effective verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines. Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment. Ability to gather, interpret, report and use data and other information concerning assigned activities. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team. Skill in preparing clear and concise documents, including but not limited to reports, procedures, correspondences and other written materials. Knowledge of applicable computer applications

    Bilingual (Spanish/English).


    JOB SCOPE:
    Position impacts multiple business units/segments.


    WORKING CONDITIONS:


    Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment.

    Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders.

    May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.


    FLSA Status:

    The position is Exempt. May require the ability to work overtime to meet required deadlines. All work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health are expected to be respected and complied with.
