    Support Headquarters, United States Air Force, Assistant Chief of Staff for Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration (HQ USAF/A10) role within the Air Force Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Enterprise

    Responsibilities
    Support CWMD-related operationally focused studies, analyses, and operational risk assessments.

    Support the identification of CWMD operational capability gaps within applicable OPLANs, how these gaps impact the Air Force's and Joint Force's ability to successfully execute their wartime mission objectives, and the required supporting CWMD requirements to mitigate known risk.

    Ensure acquisition programs address Air Force operational requirements for CWMD materiel and equipment and coordinate with other Air Force stakeholders.

    Support the development of CWMD operational capabilities and ensure those capabilities are appropriately integrated into Air Force and Joint plans, programs, requirements, concepts and budgets.

    Support the development and execution of Air Force Chemical, Biological Defense Program (CBDP) Demonstration Days.

    Assist in coordinating Air Force CWMD activities, operations, and CWMD/CBDP needs with the other Services, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Staff, and other components of the CBDP (JRO-CBRND, JPEO-CBDP, JSTO, DUSA T/E, and PAIO).

    Support A10S's role within the Air Force CWMD Enterprise, to include Air Force CWMD Council, PWG, MWG, and IWG meeting support.

    Support the Air Force CBDP prioritization process of Air Force funding objectives within the CBDP Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
    Limited travel may be required.
    Qualifications
    TS Clearance Required, TS/SCI desired.
    BA or BS degree required, MA or MS degree desired.
    Candidate should have 5-12 years' experience, to include the following:

    Prior Air Force operational background within the Emergency Management career field and/or operational background in support of Joint Task Force Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRND) mission sets.

    Air Staff and JCIDS background working Air Force efforts (requirements, capability development, and funding) within the Joint Chemical, Biological Defense Program (CBDP).

    Comprehensive OPLAN knowledge and understanding of how Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)-related Air Force capability gaps impact the Air Component and the Joint Force's ability to execute wartime mission objectives.

    Prior Air Force advocacy engagement with other Services and Joint CBDP components.
    Prior involvement supporting the CBDP Cassandra assessments.
    Prior involvement supporting the Air Force CBDP prioritization process.
    Prior involvement supporting Air Force CBDP Demonstration Days.
    Knowledge of International Partner CBRN capabilities and limitations.
