Job summary
Vehicle Maintenance Technician maintains vehicle fleet including lift trucks and tuggers.
+Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain vehicle fleet including lift trucks (propane and electric) and tuggers.
- Perform all preventative maintenance as well as breakdown services.
- Maintain all preventative maintenance records documents warranties wash vehicles keep work area clean neat orderly notify Supervision of vehicle abuse assist facility maintenance whenever time permits respond quickly to handling minor repairs so that unsafe vehicles are not in operation or down for an extended period other duties at direction of supervisor.

- Lift Truck Certified preferred but not necessary If not certified in Lift Truck must become certified in reasonable amount of time Diesel Mechanic experience a PLUS Must be self-motivated able to work unsupervised Ability to work well with others Physically able bend squat twist push/pull reach lift up 50 pounds Must willing to overtime ensure vehicles operable peak periods Must possess maintain valid driver license Must manage time parts inventories budgetary expectations cost savings avoidance follow safety procedures wear use required PPE safety glasses hearing protection mechanics gloves when required steel toe boots etc.
