- Round on patients at an inpatient psychiatric unit
- Work both on-site at location in San Bernardino, CA and on-call
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements in psychiatry
- Place/discontinue/extending psychiatric holds as needed
- Utilize EMR systems specifically Cerner
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Collaborate with medical staff leadership
- Provide leadership in program development
- Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients
- Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Prescribe medications as necessary
