Description
The Project Engineer's job is to assist and support the construction team in executing the construction procedures and ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner by performing duties.
Help the team with over sight of the projects, being able to do blueprints, structural drawings and plan set, and able to problem solve on projects.
Our client is a reputable general contractor in the Portland metro area that mainly works on new construction in all markets of the commercial sector, including tenant improvements.
They are continuing positive growth through out their business and expanding their project sector into the health care sector.They are listed as the Top place to work in Oregon and one of Oregon's 100 fastest growing private companies.
Help assist and support the project manager and other project engineer in the oversight of the project from pre-constriction to close outCan identify and solve potential issues throughout the projects to help prevent potential negative impacts that can help ensure safety of work
Able to help Project manager estimate both construction management and self- perform work items, update project schedule, and review subcontractor bid proposals
process subcontractor change orders
Bachelor's degree in a construction management or related degree
Has had Project Engineer Internships with reputable general contractors
Has 1-3 years experience working in the Project engineer role
Has worked on new construction, ground up, or tenant improvement projects
