Frontend Developer

WisEngineering, LLC is currently interviewing candidates for an IMMEDIATE FULL TIME LONG TERM position with our company in support of our ongoing Department of Defense program at Picatinny Arsenal. Successful candidate will be an employee of WisEngineering. Work will be on site in Dover, NJ.

MUST HAVE 3 Years of Full Time Employment History within a production environment

Position Title: Mid-Level Frontend / User Experience Application Developer

Location: Dover, NJ

Limited Relocation Assistance - NO REMOTE

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: 60K - 90K DOE (years of experience and domain expertise)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Application development within an Agile environment
• Software development & life-cycle management
• Systems development as part of a small team of network and software developers
• Development and integration of new features, interfaces and applications
• Required Background and Experience:
• 3-5 years hands-on experience in designing, implementing, operating, and maintaining web-based applications or system interfaces.
• Ability to work with a software development team using collaboration tools: Concurrent Versioning Systems, Software Configuration Management, Bug Tracking Systems

Primary Duties:

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop functional applications, focusing on frontend development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS, while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the design and build of military mission critical next generation applications.
• Support development, testing and implementation.

Required Technical Skills:

• Experience with Java / JavaScript application development
• Front-end experience in HTML5, CSS, Angular, React, Node.JS, and JavaScript programming/debugging
• Experience in Software design and architecture,
• Source Control/Configuration,
• User interface implementation

Desired Experience:

• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Experience using Git-based source control systems
• In-depth experience with Java web applications and containers such as Tomcat and Apache
• Security concepts including authentication, authorization, and encryption; SSL
• Knowledge regarding Agile Development processes and methodologies
