    Description
    Large academic facility in State College Pennsylvania has an immediate and ongoing need for a Locum Gastroenterologist.
    Colonoscopies, EGDs
    ERCP and EUS preferred but not necessary
    It is both inpatient and outpatient coverage.
    Anesthesia is present
    PHYSICIAN WORKS TWO FULL WEEKS CONSECUTIVELY, inpatient and outpatient, starting on a Friday at 5pm.

    Scheduled procedure patients on Tue, Weds and Friday; volume: 5-6 (inpatient and scopes that can t be done outpatient)
    There is hospital rounding on patients during the weekdays (average 20 mins) all GI patients on weekends (average 3 hours), which averages 4-8 patients
    Clinic sessions: 8/month average, 5-9 patients per session

    Other:
    APP supervision and capsule studies
    EMRs are Cerner and Meditech
