Job Summary:
The position requires a psychiatrist to provide coverage in an inpatient adult psychiatric facility. The locum tenens physician will work with a team of 3 psychiatrists and be responsible for the care of 8 weekday patients and up to 20 weekend patients.

Reason for Coverage: Temporary absence of a psychiatrist
Average Number of Patients Per Day: 8 weekday, 16-20 on weekends
Total Number of Beds: 54
Group Size: 3 Psychiatrists
No Supervision Responsibilities
Electronic Medical Records System: EPIC
Referral/Transfer Protocol: Access Center located in OH
Safety Measures: Secure facility, CPI-trained staff, campus police presence, code alert system
Treatment Focus: Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders
Required Expertise: Involuntary Commitments, Seclusion Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Restraint Application
Target Patient Demographics: Adults aged 18+
