    Position Description:


    This is an exciting opportunity to support Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) and Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific working on digital transformation of the Naval Operational Architecture, model-based systems engineering of critical Naval cross-domain mission threads, and cybersecurity engineering of next generation Naval information systems and tactical networks.

    Decision Technologies is seeking motivated individuals with broad skillsets and experiences who can demonstrate a history of achievement in engineering services for the Navy and/or larger DoD.


    Responsibilities and Duties:
    Review, assess, and provide advice in the development of engineering processes for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) programs and projects

    Validate data and develop technical models that document architectures and related specifications and requirements for AI/ML and related Data initiatives.

    Assess and provide advice in the development, review, and publishing of A/ML architectures, standards, competency development models
    Analyze and author technical papers describing data strategies, data implementation plans, and other critical data technologies to support AI/ML.

    Required Qualifications and Skills:
    Experience with software integration or testing- including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts.
    Experience with frequent scripting language use such as Python and R and using packages commonly used in data science applications or advanced analytics
    Experience with data science, data mining, statistics or graph algorithms to support analytics objectives.
    Experience applying Structured Query Language (SQL), Non Structured Query Language (NoSQL), Application
    Program Interlace (API), Building, Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) pipelines, Web Application Servers, or Search Index.
    Experience using programming languages and products such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, Numpy, Requests or Antigravity.
    Experience applying complex mathematical and statistical concepts.
    Experience applying statistical and operations research methods and tools.
    Experience employing spreadsheets for data manipulation and visualization.

    Other Requirements:
    Relevant industry certifications such as Comp TIA Cloud Essentials/Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA) /Certificate of Cloud Security(CCSK) /CompTIA A+/CompTIA Security+/EMC Data Science Associate (EMCDSA)/Cloudera Certified Data Scientist (CCDH)/Certified Apache Hadoop Developer (HCAHD) (Hortonworks) /Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)/Certified Cloud Professional (CCP} (Cloudera)/Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)/Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD)/Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE)/Private Cloud/Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH) (Cloudera)


    Travel Requirements:
    25% to various Naval activity centers, including San Diego, CA; Washington, DC; Norfolk, VA; Charleston, SC; Denver, CO; and Hawaii
