- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment; reviews equipment status with operational personnel and troubleshoots tool or surface equipment issues when required
- Maintains cased-hole wireline logging equipment consisting of downhole tools, surface panels, and computers; keeps service and maintenance records of equipment
- Troubleshoots circuit boards and components used in downhole tools and surface equipment
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals, circuit and mechanical drawings and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Performs mechanical maintenance of downhole tools and surface equipment.
- Creates preventive maintenance schedule.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent relevant wireline technician experience or electronics technology experience
- Mechanical skills should include, but are not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history
- Completion of all current HSE certifications
- Expert knowledge and utilization of tools and equipment in cased-hole operations.
- Exposure to inclement weather and confined spaces

PURPOSE:
Performs physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or field [with exposure to inclement weather] in support of operations including, but not limited to: inspection, repairs, and maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting, interpretation of equipment manuals, and training/mentoring.
