    Organization Overview:

    The Global Supply Chain Excellence organization focuses on standardization of business processes by emphasizing on lean methodologies and master data management while interfacing with relevant key stakeholders including sites/networks, M&Q IT, and HR business partners.

    Role Overview:

    The Senior Director of Master Data Governance is responsible for developing and executing the Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q) Data governance in partnership with The position entails overseeing data governance across the data domain of Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing Strategy, including defining clear responsibility and accountability around key data objects, data elements, and data sources. This role aims to drive data integrity and accessibility throughout the end-to-end supply chain.

    Responsibilities:

    Manufacturing and Quality Organizational:

  • Develop and implement a robust data governance framework for M&Q data domains.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the Global Data Governance framework.
  • Ensure alignment of the framework with the overall organizational strategy.
  • Establish foundational governance policies and procedures.
  • Maintain alignment with data quality and data integrity strategy.
  • Engage key senior stakeholders
  • Lead the Data Governance Council
  • Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing Strategy Functional:

  • Develop and execute a data management strategy and collaborate with key stakeholders to define and deploy target state data architecture
  • Establish the data quality scorecard and KPIs to ensure efficacy of master data management.
  • Drive coordination and collaboration with IT stakeholders regarding changes to master data structure, incorporation of new data elements, and retirement of data objects initiated by supply chain stakeholders
  • Establish best practices and continuous improvement programs with IT stakeholders for process ownership in line with Master Data management standards to ensure accuracy, consistency & reliability
  • Represent Supply Chain in enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives, such as ERP transformation, and integrate data readiness into all activities
  • Ensure procedures for reviewing and maintaining data are compliant with internal and external regulations and optimizing typical ERP system functionality
  • Establish risk mitigation strategy for data-related issues
  • Leadership:

  • Incorporate leading industry practices, including cognitive and AI/ML
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to ensure ongoing data fidelity, accessibility, and implement risk mitigation strategies for data issues
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and IT teams to ensure master data alignment and accuracy across functions
  • Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Operations Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 10+ years of expertise managing technical operations in global pharmaceutical/healthcare/biotech industries
  • Experience with master data governance & data analysis
  • Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Pioneer in the field when it comes to ERP system master data management design
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GxP standards and data privacy
  • Deep understanding of Pharmaceutical data standards like ISO IDMP
  • Exceptional executive-level communication skills, adept at networking and building strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent in global program and project management
  • Functional competence in quality, asset management, planning, and procurement, as well as alignment across locations and systems
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with the capacity to work in-coordination with different functions
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience
  • SAP Experience
  • Additional Information:

  • Travel 20 %
