    Director of Sales and Marketing Hotel

    Title of Position: Director of Sales and Marketing

    Compensation: $160,000 to $175,000 plus full relocation package

    Job Responsibilities:
    • The Director of Sales & Marketing's main responsibility is to develop and solicit group and catering businesses from various markets to meet the hotel's revenue goals. They supervise the Sales and Events department and oversee the hotel's marketing initiatives.
    • They work closely with the Revenue Management team to maximize revenue opportunities, and produce reports and sales forecasts that reflect current and potential business opportunities.
    • As a member of the hotel's leadership committee, they participate in meetings to discuss upcoming events, budget planning, and general operations.
    • The success of the Director of Sales & Marketing depends on their ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the hotel's leadership team while demonstrating strong sales and marketing skills to drive revenue growth.
    • Their efforts are crucial in ensuring that the hotel meets its group revenue goals and provides guests with exceptional experiences.

    Qualifications:
    • The Director of Sales and Marketing must create, plan, and implement the marketing and sales strategy for the organization in accordance with the overall business strategy and objectives.
    • The Director of Sales and Marketing must develop and implement a sales selling cycle and methodology based on market research and competitor analyses.
    • The Director of Sales and Marketing must drive all social media and web branding efforts to ensure the company's web presence is strong and easy to navigate risks in order to recommend tactical strategies.
    • Maintaining key customer relationships, while developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company's customer base is a must for the Director of Sales and Marketing.
    • A Bachelor's degree is preferred for the Director of Sales and Marketing.
    • A Director of Sales and Marketing must have proven sales experience of 3+ years.
