Job Description

Summary: Seeking a Lab Technician to provide mechanical support, assist in R&D, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe work environment.

Job Requirements:

Set up and assist with customer development trials
Contribute to R&D for process and machine functionality improvements
Keep process equipment operational and well-maintained
Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace
Collaborate with various departments to complete tasks effectively
Offer mechanical guidance to engineers, other departments, suppliers, and customers
Act as team leader for large projects as necessary
Travel on behalf of the company when needed

Preferred Skills:

Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Competence in basic math including fractions, decimals, percentages, proportions, circumference, and volume
Effective communication in noisy environments and the ability to present information to groups
Problem-solving skills with practical application
Basic computer literacy
Understanding of electricity basics including handling 480 volts

Responsibilities:

Maintain a collaborative approach when working within a team or taking direction from others
Ensure all process equipment is functional for start-ups and customer engagement
Consult with cross-functional teams as needed for task completion
Professionally represent the company during duties at work or offsite
Interpret documents related to safety rules and maintenance instructions

Education Requirement:

Minimum High School Diploma with demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Other Information:

Work Week: Monday - Friday (1st Shift) Travel: Required as per company needs

Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
