    Job Description:
    The Recruiter Talent Acquisition – Flight Operations is responsible for Talent Acquisition for JetBlue.

    The Recruiter Talent Acquisition – Flight Operations will provide recruiting support to Flight Operations and other departments as required with an emphasis on service to include:

    pre-qualifying, candidate screening, interviewing and processing offers as well as on-boarding competitive internal/external candidates to fill open job requisitions.

    The Recruiter will be an active participant on the greater Talent Acquisition team and will lead and assist with projects, initiatives and hiring events.

    The Recruiter will represent the JetBlue culture and brand, fully portray the value of the employment opportunity, and champion the overall candidate experience.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Ensure that competitive candidates that meet or exceed specific qualifications and are an excellent organizational fit for the JetBlue culture are presented to hiring managers for open positions

    Initiate requisitions and conduct partner strategy meetings with hiring managers for specialized roles

    Assist in creating the external hiring sourcing strategy for specialized roles

    Conduct telephone, individual, and group interviews. Successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against timelines

    Support the Talent Acquisition process through accurate record keeping, reporting, and updating interview guides and position expectations

    All other duties as assigned

    Build a diverse pipeline of candidates by developing and leading partnerships with organizations such as NGPA, OBAP, and WAI

    Partner with Flight Operations to ensure healthy and diverse pipeline of future JetBlue Pilots via Gateway Programs

    Build and maintain collaborative relationships with department leaders, hiring managers and cross functional partners to best meet the recruiting need of the business

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related OR a High School Diploma/ General Education Development (GED) with four (4) years of related work experience

    One (1) year of Recruiting, Human Resources, or JetBlue Leadership experience

    Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

    Experience organizing/coordinating multiple projects while providing exceptional customer service

    Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook

    Ability to understand and create solutions from a global perspective

    Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy

    Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the U.S

    Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and employment laws

    Proven experience providing high-quality customer service in a matrix structure

    Facilitating engaging presentations in front of large groups both in person and digitally, including leadership

    Experience organizing and managing large scale events

    Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))


    Job Requirements:
    Regular attendance and punctuality

    Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice

    Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance

    When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

    Qualification & Experience:
    Available for overnight travel (35%)

    Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test

    Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

    Three (3) or more years of experience ideally in corporate environment or a high volume recruiting organization

    Previous airline experience, with an understanding of FAA pilot hiring minimums

    Understanding of recruiting metrics
