    Description

    Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

    Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to all safety policiesSupervise, motivate, mentor, and train Plant Maintenance team members.

    Provide leadership, direction, and planning for current and ongoing maintenance of ready mix concrete plants.
    Properly communicate with management, team members, and vendors.
    Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
    Ensures all maintenance projects can be accomplished safely.

    Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and local maintenance requirements for plants, including but not limited to permitting, licensing, and annual inspection certifications.

    Communicate regularly with Director of Plant MaintenanceWork communicate with architects and civil engineers on new plant construction.

    Communicate and coordinate with plant managers on all tasks and projects at each particular plantEnsure that projects that are carried out will improve efficiency and /or reduce operating costs.

    Meet scheduled deadlines for completion of work and any other time sensitive responsibilities.
    Assist in planning and preparing Capital Expenditure projects.
    All other duties as assigned by management.


    RequirementsRequirements:
    Minimum of 5 years experience with concrete plant maintenance.
    Demonstrate basic computer skills.
    Good analytical, planning and organizational skills.
    Good verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external constituents as well as company managementDemonstrated technical competence with the ability to adapt and learn quicklyMust be flexible with work schedule; "non-traditional" work hours are anticipated and travel is requiredMust reside in or be willing to relocate to the area
