    Working Hours

    • PRN

    General Description of the Role
    Perform a variety of technical duties related to preparing and dispensing medication under supervision, following standard procedures.

    • Prepare intravenous admixtures and sterile products.
    • Fill medication orders, prescriptions, and stock requisitions.
    • Deliver medications and supplies to designated areas.
    • Provide support for automated equipment and maintain accurate documentation.
    • Perform medication storage area inspections and monitor quality improvement indicators.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education

    • Pharmacy Tech I: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or relevant experience.
    • Pharmacy Tech II: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or relevant experience.

    Experience

    • Pharmacy Tech I: Not Applicable
    • Pharmacy Tech II: Minimum of one year of related experience.

    Degrees, Licensures, Certifications

    • Pharmacy Tech I: Must be registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within a specified timeframe.
    • Pharmacy Tech II: North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration required. Pharmacy Technician certification necessary.
