Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
collaborates with departmental managers to process hire requests, background check entry and administration, onboarding questions, "launching" new hire packets and HRIS navigation assistance.
performance and talent management; and training and development.Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Provides HR assistance to General Managers and associates.Works closely with Corporate team including Operations, Payroll and Accounting.
Manages the recruitment process for hourly positions.
Responsible for tracking legally required training programs including harassment prevention and human trafficking training.
Files all HR-related paperwork weekly, ensuring files are kept updated, stored accordingly, and sent to storage where applicable.
Monitors the HR inbox and responds to inquiries in a timely manner.
Monitors compliance with applicable local, state, and federal labor laws, working closely with the HRD to ensure requirements are met.
Processes all EDD unemployment audits and claims.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems (Paycom, ADP WFN).
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, preferred but not required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
