- You implement maintenance strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. This includes establishing and maintaining a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the reliability and availability of all equipment and facilities.
- You provide strong leadership to the maintenance teams, while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You set priorities for the team to ensure task completion as a part of the overall department strategy. This includes providing staff with coaching, training and opportunities to develop skills, give ongoing constructive and timely feedback on performance.
- You manage maintenance infrastructure, monitor all systems status and analyze to identify trends. You develop and manage preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance programs to ensure cost effective and reliable operation of all equipment and systems. This includes implementing predictive and preventive maintenance practices to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- You monitor KPIs for equipment breakdowns, calibrations and PM, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- You ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, including FDA and GMP standards and maintain accurate documentation/records to support regulatory audits and inspections.
- You manage the maintenance budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and identify cost-saving opportunities to implement cost-effective solutions.
- You promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the engineering and maintenance teams.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in various Engineering or Science disciplines or a related discipline (i.e., Molecular, Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical) or equivalent industry experience required.
- You have 12+ years in the medical device arena; in-vitro diagnostics manufacturing experience or related regulated industry (i.e. cGMP) required.
- You have 3+ years of experience managing projects and leading a team of 5 or more.
- Preferred: Six Sigma Black Belted.
- You have knowledge of metrology and calibration processes and it's applicable regulations.
- You have knowledge of tooling and processes to produce component parts and an understanding of lean manufacturing and use of analytical techniques such as DOE and SPC.
- You have proven success in leading teams to meet KPI goals.
- Preferred: Implementation of successful PMs/Calibration programs and of robust spare parts programs.
