- Design, develop, and maintain tracking mechanisms and reporting templates.
- Develop periodic or ad hoc reports/dashboards as requested by program management and the client
- Maintain and adjust production management tools for required employee performance metrics.
- Analyze program performance and staff management data.
- Maintain expert level understanding of program database and assist program staff and partners with support requests.
- Coordinate with external vendors/technology providers to improve system performance.
- Develop management tools for program targeting and performance reporting.
- Facilitate development of systems as required.
- Write formal staff reports that are clear, concise, and easily understood.
- Present program/project ideas and coordinate with management and staff.
- Data Cleaning and Management on behalf of external agencies
- Host and facilitate meetings with multiple government agencies and private sector partners to review data, identify discrepancies, and initiate changes to systems
- Design and Maintain project Dashboards in PowerBi, SmartSheets, and other tools as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze data in Microsoft Office Excel and other data modeling tools (e.g. SmartSheets, PowerBI)
- Proficient in Dashboard Design and Maintenance
- Proficient in Database Languages (i.e., C#, SQL, HTML, MatLab)
- Displays well developed analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Experience working with case management reporting systems (Dynamics 365, QuickBase, etc.) is a plus.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, economics, accounting, information systems or other relevant field; OR,
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience in case management, financial management, accounting, application processing, grant-funded government programs, or other relevant field
- Proficiency in data management and reporting software required

Tidal Basin seeks a candidate for the role of Technical Analyst -- Data and Reporting to join the team supporting the State of Hawaii in their recovery from the Maui Wildfires. The position will assist in one or more programs that provide temporary and permanent housing to households impacted by the event. This position represents an exceptional opportunity to join an expert team to facilitate change and help make a lasting difference.
The objective of the Technical Analyst – Data and Reporting is to build and maintain reports that track and measure program progress and assist program staff with assistance requests for information.

Pay Range: $38.00 to $42.50 an hour
