- As a Level I Engineer, your work will involve moderate-level onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical solutions. You will regularly communicate with manager-level nursing and pharmacy staff and work on problems of moderate scope.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline; or
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline and experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices.
- Coursework in Network Engineering, Robotics, or Electronics
- Experience working in a hospital environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or a related discipline AND one year of relevant experience; OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline and one year experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices.
- Coursework in Network Engineering, Robotics or Electronics
- Experience working in a hospital environment
- Knowledge of FDA regulations for medical devices and Quality Management Systems
- Thoroughly document all service events according to Omnicell's policies and procedures.
- Meet company guidelines for response time and service levels
- Escalate product bugs, malfunctions, and design issues through support channels.
- Participate in various staff meetings
- Maintain service quality and customer satisfaction
- Manage parts inventory and return materials process
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to approximately 5 ft. high
- Available 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, and for weekend on-call rotations
- Frequent local travel in the primary area
- Backup support in adjacent areas as needed
- Provide work area at home and space for trunk stock inventory

Job DescriptionImportant Note: This position is region-specific and field-based. Applicants interested in this opportunity must be local or within driving distance of the location. Out-of-state applicants should have plans to relocate to the territory. This territory will cover the region and within a few hour's driving radius.
Join Omnicell, a pioneering force in healthcare technology, as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) I or II, where your work will directly impact patient care and outcomes. Our FSEs provide troubleshooting, repair services, and scheduled preventive maintenance for Omnicell's pharmacy and supply automation solutions at customer sites. Your work will keep critical pharmacy and supply systems running, helping healthcare providers deliver the highest quality possible to patient care.
Whether you are a Level I or Level II Engineer, you will be dispatched as needed by our 24x7 Technical Assistance Center. Our FSEs work on medication management hardware and software repairs, fixes, and troubleshooting.

As a Level II Engineer, you will take on more advanced responsibilities.
