    Description:

    The Tulane University Department of Ophthalmology is recruiting an Associate or Full Professor with training and experience in the management of ocular or adnexal tumors to serve as the George Haik Sr./St. Giles Endowed Chair in Pediatric and Adult Ocular Oncology. The chairholder should have attained national or international distinction for having made unique and significant impacts on their field through outstanding research, creative scholarly achievement, teaching, and/or service. The candidate must be board-certified and eligible for full, unrestricted licensure in the state of Louisiana.

    Duties will include providing comprehensive and surgical services and procedures, participating in teaching/supervising residents and fellows, participating in Departmental Grand Rounds, and lecturing to residents and medical students regularly. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.


    Qualifications:

    Board-certified in ophthalmology with ocular oncology sub-specialty training

    Must be board-certified and licensed or eligible to be licensed in Louisiana
