Sales and Customer Financial Analyst - Kansas City, United States - Orange EV

Position Summary

Bring your customer-facing experience and confidence along with your financial expertise to this role where you will partner with our sales team to more effectively communicate the financial benefits through purchasing and leasing our industry-leading Orange EV electric trucks.

You will also play a key role in our expanding leasing program to help facilitate quotes and analysis.

Position Responsibilities

Engage directly with financial leadership of customers and prospects. This role has more customer-facing elements than a traditional financial analyst role.

Partner with field sales team to assist with the communication to customers of financial details and advantages of operating our trucks.

Develop customer-specific analysis of costs and benefits of ownership, leasing, and renting, to assist with deal closing.

Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional groups to improve and optimize TCO calculations and methodologies for communicating the data and results.

Perform financial analyses such as projected breakeven, payback, NPV, ROI, IRR, etc.
Prepare various standard and ad hoc reports to provide meaningful and accurate financial information for the organization.
Prepare and/or review lease quotes and understand competitive leasing market dynamics for yard trucks.
Monitor market price evolution and competitive positioning and pricing.

Work closely with internal partners such as service team, engineers, and product management to drive depth of understanding and external communication of total cost of ownership.

Contribute to the ongoing advancement of financial reports by applying data analysis and visualization tools where appropriate and helpful.
Support the forecast and budget processes to achieve the highest level of accuracy.

Position Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
5+ years of financial experience
Ability to communicate complex financial analysis reporting to customers and internal team members

Experience engaging successfully with senior-level financial experts since this role may engage with CFOs and other finance leaders in our customers' organizations.

Experience in financial reporting and analysis; proven track record to perform these functions independently, optimally, and with attention to detail
Expertise with MS Excel, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including demonstrated competence with Excel to talk through financial modeling of recommended solutions
Experience with Power BI or other reporting and visualization tools is a plus

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have

Commercial Vehicle / Equipment experience.
Familiarity with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) for relationship and sales funnel management
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
