    Our well-known manufacturing client in the motion picture industry is looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to ensure that allHR operationsare achieved smoothly and effectively.

    You will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects. TheHR Directormust be an experienced professional with deepknowledge of all matters concerning HR departments. You will manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset.

    The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.


    What you will do:
    Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety, etc.
    Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development.
    Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics
    Supervise the work of the HR team and provide guidance.
    Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions
    Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
    Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
    Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
    Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics

    We are looking for someone with the following:
    Strategic HR Leadership

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    Compliance Management

    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEO, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and OSHA.
    Standard HR Programs

    • Develop and deploy standardized HR programs, policies, and procedures across all company locations.
    Talent Acquisition and Retention

    • Oversee recruitment and retention efforts to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
    Employee Relations

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on all HRrelated matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
    Training and Development

    • Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    Benefits Administration

    • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
    HR Technology

    • Evaluate and implement HRIS and other technology solutions to streamline HR processes and improve data management.
    Budget Management

    • Develop and manage the HR department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    Team Leadership

    • Lead and mentor a team of corporate HR professionals and plantbased HR associates, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth and development.
    Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or relevant field; Master's degree in human resources a plus.
