    Description

    Our client, located in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electronic components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic parts and systems, as well as experience with injection molding processes a plus. The Senior Electronics Engineer will play a critical role in driving innovation, solving complex technical challenges, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis.

    What you will be doing:

    · Design and develop electronic components and systems, including PCBs, sensors, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces.

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, specifications, and objectives.

    · Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate design concepts and propose optimal solutions.

    · Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets.

    · Perform detailed analysis, testing, and validation of electronic systems to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

    · Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability, with a focus on injection molding processes.

    · Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

    · Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source electronic components and materials, as well as to optimize injection molding processes.

    · Stay updated on emerging technologies, market trends, and best practices in electronics engineering.

    What you will need:

    · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

    · Minimum of 7 years of experience in electronics design and development, with a focus on electronic parts and injection molding.

    · Proficiency in CAD software (e.g.,Solidworks, Creo) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, PSpice).

    · Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and systems, as well as experience with PCB layout and design.

    · Familiarity with injection molding processes and their application to electronic enclosures and components.

    · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions on time and within budget.
