    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a full time Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of complex, high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs) for space-bound systems. The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in pushing the boundaries of what's possible in space technology. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to drive innovation in a startup setting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop advanced digital and RF PCBs specifically for space applications, ensuring robust performance under extreme conditions.
    • Lead mixed-signal and RF systems design, including link budget analysis and system optimization.
    • Manage the entire lifecycle of PCB development, from conceptual design to hardware implementation and testing.
    • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of new boards, troubleshooting issues and ensuring reliability and compliance with space standards.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate PCBs with other system components.
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.


    Requirements

    Requirements:

    • B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
    • 7-10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with at least 4 years focused on designing PCBs for space applications
    • Profound expertise in mixed-signal and RF system design
    • Proven experience in bringing up and testing new boards
    • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. government, due to the nature of the work involving sensitive technology
    • Willingness to relocate to Northern Virginia
    • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, startup environment
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
