- Offer expert guidance on complex toxic and workplace hazards, including causation issues, epidemiology, and critical review of medical literature.
- Create guidelines and training programs for medical staff to ensure service delivery.
- Provide recommendations on enhancing work methods and organizational aspects using scientific knowledge of workplace hazards gained from regular site visits.
- Establish and manage medical surveillance and qualification programs for supported commands.
- Conduct various occupational physical examinations independently, such as pre-placement, disability retirement, worker competency, fitness for duty, and other special employee exams as needed.
