- Support system deployments to multiple environments (Stage, Training, Production, and more)
- Capture artifacts to support security reviews and Authorization to Operate (ATO) assessments
- Assist in Active Directory domain management, including analyzing, troubleshooting, and implementing Group Policies, OU structures, and domain server upgrades
- Perform updates of Windows and Linux environments
- Perform basic operating system security hardening
- Perform troubleshooting for system issues, deployment issues, end user issues, including log analysis
- Perform daily reviews or inspections of system backups, AWS CloudWatch Alerts, Elasticsearch Observability, and system accessibility
- Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other process documentation
- Implement CloudFormation and script automation and configuration management to streamline operational processes
- Monitor and optimize costs within the cloud environments, including service tiers and management usage to stay within budget
- Collaborate with other teams to implement appropriate cloud solutions and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the cloud infrastructure including diagrams, configuration details, and operational procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field (Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- 2 years' experience managing AWS infrastructure
- Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory domains
- Experience with AWS mainstream cloud service offerings
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or another relevant AWS certification
- Experience with a microservices architecture and tools
- Experience gathering artifacts to support ATO assessments
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience with Elasticsearch and AWS OpenSearch
- Windows or Linux operating system certifications
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, VPN, DHCP, TLS, IP subnetting and routing
- Demonstrated ability to automate infrastructure tasks such as infrastructure as code
- Experience with AWS Firewall management
- Demonstrated experience supporting FISMA authorizations
