    VDOT is driven by safety, service to the community, and commitment to excellence As a Pavement Coordinator, you will use our foundational drivers to play a crucial role in shaping the highways that connect communities and drive progress across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

    Position is responsible to assist in development of estimates and cost-effective strategies to rehabilitate, preserve and extend the life of the district pavement network, maintain and update pavement management databases, as well as web-based programs.

    Generate and maintain automated and written reports and project records.

    Position will assist with planning, execution and monitoring of the pavement restoration and rehabilitation program; Collaborate with others to prepare and implement the annual paving schedule; prepare and manage project documentation on web-based SharePoint site.

    Maintain awareness of all project activities and deliverables, ensuring project work is completed within established timeframes. prepare and submit applicable testing documents. Perform field reviews and inspections to determine compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.

    • Knowledge of highway construction and maintenance materials

    • A combination of training, experience or education in Civil Engineering, or related field
